About Hughes Farmers Market
Growing fresh produce and serving Hixson and Chattanooga families with pride.
Direct From Our Family Farm to You
Hughes Farmers Market and Nursery is a family owned and operated local market located at 6402 Hixson Pike in Hixson, TN.
Our main farm, Hughes Farms, is located in Dayton, TN — just a short 45-minute drive from Chattanooga. By growing our own crops and controlling the harvesting process, we bring the freshest local produce straight from our fields to your family table at fair prices.
The Largest Tomato Crop in the Area
Tomatoes are our signature pride! Every year, our family plants approximately 1.5 million tomato plants at Hughes Farms. We pick them at peak ripeness so you can “Taste Fresh” every time you visit.
Southern Hospitality
When you step into Hughes Farmers Market, you are treated like family by our staff and local community team.
Quality & Affordability
Cutting out unnecessary middlemen allows us to offer farm-picked fruits, vegetables, plants, and deli items at accessible prices.
One-Stop Market
From groceries and deli sandwiches to garden plants, hanging baskets, and poly patio furniture — we have it all in one spot.
