About Us
How We Got Started
Starting farming in the early 1980’s the patriarch of the family instilled a solid work ethic and a love for farming in his three boys. Today each operates his own farm, giving Hughes Farmers Market direct access to vegetables fresh from the vine and the ability to offer them directly to you in their freshest (and most flavorful) condition.
Fresh Local Produce
We grow pretty much everything that can be grown in the Chattanooga area at Hughes Farms in Dayton TN, so you know, our produce is fresh and local.
Planting approximately 1.5 million tomato plants each year, tomatoes are our largest crop.
